Danne Sheets Jr.--Drummer
Drummer, Based in Nashville, Tennessee. He started playing drums at the age of two, Danne had a band called “Take The Highway”
This was a trio. We are all named after our dads. Each of our dads worked for “Bobby Helms.” The band became very popular and toured all over opening up even for major Acts.
Confederate railroad, Canned Heat, Ted Nugent, and many others, etc.
Then Danne joined a band called “River County” we had song on top 30 billboards that allow us to play all over the country and all over China
In between touring dates, Danne taught private drum lessons somehow managing 30 to 40 students a week, in between playing on several recording and records. Very heavy schedule to maintain. Then Danne joined Kelly Ritchie blues band. We toured all over the United States playing to 10 to 30,000 people nightly opening up for major artist and even sharing the stage with lots of them such as Dokken ,Joe Bonamassa. A huge list of top names, etc.. We toured all over the Canada playing Ottawa, Bluesfest, and mini festivals. At least eight. different providences of Canada
As he was still maintaining 30 to 40+ students a week while being on the road and three months at a time. And still playing on sessions. Danne then got a job. Working for Doug Stone.He plays on sessions here in town,
Plays live gigs with world, renown, legendary musicians.
Also working now working in Ron Crites "George Jones Tribute Show"
